For your initial purchase, due to a limitation in our billing system, the first invoice would reflect the tax charge if applicable depending on local and state laws. However, please email us at support@posit.co once you have purchased a plan and let us know the account ID, along with attaching a valid tax exemption certificate and any relevant supporting information.
Once the certificate is validated, we will mark the account as tax-exempt for future charges, and process a refund for any sales tax charged initially if applicable.
