Is VAT included in the list price of Posit products?

No. VAT (Value Added Tax) is a consumption tax imposed mostly by European countries. Purchases directly from Posit, on posit.co or shinyapps.io or for Posit conferences or training events purchased on Eventbrite, do not include VAT because we are not required to collect it. Any VAT obligation is the responsibility of the purchaser.
