Please note there are currently no discounts available for academic, SMB, or non-profit pricing for shinyapps.io. Since shinyapps.io is designed to be a self-service, auto-renewing platform. It can be purchased in yearly or monthly subscriptions currently and will be charged to the credit card retained on file through the duration of the subscription. (Can I pay for a shinyapps.io subscription via another method besides a credit card? & Can I purchase multiple months/years of shinyapps.io?)

Only the professional plan allows for account sharing between up to 25 members. shinyapps.io runs within AWS so the infrastructure is certified, but the service itself is not audited against any "security compliance regimes". We are not HIPAA-compliant, and we do not encrypt data at rest.
